Holy is the Lord God Almighty. Word Up! is a daily devotional written by an author while sitting in a Federal Prison in Louisiana and inspired by the Holy Spirit to reach others who need Jesus. The goal is to spread the Gospel of Jesus' love and enlighten those in the grasp of Satan's darkness. My uncle suggested I write my devotionals out and send to my mother, Sue Buzzard in Oklahoma. She would decipher, search Scripture and by the leading of the Holy Spirit rewrote in long hand. After 3 years of prayer and study mom typed the transcript for publishing. About Rodney Long: While incarcerated, I completed the studies for a Masters Degree from Shalom Bible College & Seminary, West Des Moines, Iowa. I received this Sacred Degree of Master of Ministry and awarded the distinction of Magna cum Laude. My certificate of Ordination. I am in good standing with the Commerce Community Church, West Des Moines, Iowa. My Doctorate in July 2015. I plan to carry and share the Word with many upon my release from prison.
