          Nina Graboi was the doyenne of the psychedelic movement from 1967 until her death in 1999. This book is her autobiography, first published in 2000 by Aerial Press, and illustrated with 60 photos of her life and friends, including Alan Watts, Timothy Leary, Ram Dass, Terence McKenna, and Albert Hoffman. Her life journey spanned Europe, New York, San Francisco, and Santa Cruz, CA. It is a valuable resource for historical information on the psychedelic revolution of the 1960s and 70s.

          Biographie:
          Nina Graboi was born in Vienna in 1918, at the end of World War I. She escaped the holocaust, fleeing to the USA after Kristallnacht, 1938. In 1967 she met Timothy Leary in New York, and became the head of the League for Spiritual Discovery in Manhattan. After some years in Millbrook and Woodstock, NY, she moved west to the Haight in San Francisco, and then to Santa Cruz, CA, where was a revered matron of the psychedelic community from 1980 to 1999.
