Résumé :
This book is about everyday life experiences that people live with. It is about your everyday relationship with family and friends. It critics how people respond to situations and gives them a way to cope with things. It motivates you to incite actions and to use your talent to improve yourself. Some poems have a special interest on the awareness of bullying that impacts people of all ages and cultures. It gives you the pleasure of laughter just when you need it. It provides an escape to dealing with pain in a poetic way. Lifes challenges are sometimes difficult, but at the end of the day, everyone needs to laugh. So the question is, Can I get a ticket and watch it all unfold? I believe that laughter comes naturally, but sometimes, it is hard to create it on your own. Can I Get a Ticket, a book of poetry, is a pathway to laughter, motivation, and self-improvement and also setting goals and discovering your talent. Most of all, individuals should practice daily on saying thank you for the good acts or gestures of others. Yes, you can get a ticket.
Biographie:
Mr. Samuel Hall is known for establishing small businesses and encouraging others to seek entrepreneurship for themselves. I am a graduate of Shaw High School in Shaw Mississippi, class of 1981. I received a bachelor of art degree in Social Work from Mississippi Valley State University in 1985. I received a Master in Social Work from the University of Michigan in 1986. I have worked for over 30 years as a Social Worker. I worked most of these years as a School Social Worker in the state of Georgia. I was introduced to entrepreneurship as a child as I assisted my mother and 6 sibling sale snow cones and ice cups throughout our community in Choctaw Mississippi. I became a leader among class member in High School by holding a position in School clubs and organizations. I have conducted hundreds of workshops and seminars on anti-bullying awareness for school age students. Finally, I love to be very creative in making people laugh. I started writing poems in high school and at family reunions. My sisters would encourage me to write poetry so they could laugh at them. I always reflect back to the years of laughter my family shared from reading my poems.
