If you are a fisherman or woman, this book is for you! This fascinating memoir of Edward Murton's fishing experiences spans the course of 54 years fishing in 20 different locations, for over 20 species, as well as competing in 25 tournaments. He fished 11 tournaments in Hawaii alone. He fished on Lake Erie and in Canada for seven years for walleyes, and on Lake Murray, South Carolina, for stripers for five years. He has also caught 13 marlins. During the 1990s he won over dollars200,000 in different tournaments. He fished in Pinas Bay, Panama, at the Tropic Star Lodge and became friends with Bobby Brown, one of the top captains in the world. He fished in the Bay Point tournament for four years and won dollars120,000. In the Firecracker Open in Hawaii he won dollars48,000 in the Calcuttas. In 2017 for his 70th birthday, he went out of Murrells Inlet, North Carolina, and had a great day catching dolphin. He wrote this memoir to share his exciting experiences with other anglers and mates, urging them to never give up when fishing.
Biographie:
Edward Murton was born in 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio, one of eight kids. His father was a union roofer and his mother a housewife. In 1970, Edward moved to Miami and started a commercial roofing company. During his entire life, he has been an avid fisherman, fishing for enjoyment but also competing in 25 tournaments, where he has won over dollars200,000 in prize money.
