Biographie:
Philippe Van Parijs is Professor of Economic and Social Ethics at the Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium. He has held visiting positions in many countries, most recently the Olmsted Professorship at Yale University. He is the author of Evolutionary Explanation in the Social Sciences (1981) and Marxism Recycled (1993), and the editor of Arguing for Basic Income (1992).
