Based on the true story of an American spy in Vietnam as told to Don Lomax by agent Robert Durand who chronicles the tale. Durand was a member of a black-ops team, code-named Shining Brass. This graphic novel depicts the horrific atrocities witnessed and performed by the once naive special forces member as he attempts to perform his duties and understand the true meaning behind the madness. Durand's group was under the command of a combined force, comprised of every branch of the services, and headed up by the ever-popular Central Intelligence Committee. This book is a journey into a shadow world of treachery and deceit-and reveals the way lives of Americans were traded about carelessly during the war in Vietnam.

Biographie:
DON LOMAX was drafted into the army in the fall of 1965. In 1966 he was deployed to Vietnam, serving in the 98th Light Equipment Company. During his tour of duty he made notes and sketches that would become his reference material for the Harvey Award-nominated VIETNAM JOURNAL. In addition to VIETNAM JOURNAL, Lomax contributed stories to TWO-FISTED TALES, created the mini-series HIGH SHINING BRASS about covert operations in Vietnam, and was also the the writer for 'THE NAM and THE PUNISHER for Marvel Comics. Lomax has four children. His two sons are in the military, one a Chinook crew chief and the second a Green Beret in the First Special Forces Group. Lomax lives in Illinois with his wife Zenadia.
