Biographie:
JAN SHAW KING is an award-winning Artist and Storyteller. As a little girl, Jan was fascinated by listening to the original stories and tall tales her Dad and Grandpa had created out of thin air. In that tradition, she followed in their footsteps and created stories for her own children before becoming a children's book author illustrator. Jan's first influence was her Artist Grandmother who taught her to paint and draw the natural world around her. Jan's mentor was legendary Eloise Wilkin of Golden Books. Jan grew up to become a Cable Ace Award-winning Producer of children's television programs; Writer, Creator, Producer and Design Developer for Themed Entertainment, motion pictures and television for some of the world's top Studios, Brands and Networks. Jan and her husband, Jim King, have collaborated to write and illustrate their books of imaginative tales on WyldBlue Digital Press, an imprint of WBE Global LLC. WyldBlue Digital Press was launched to get back to one of the great loves of her life, telling magical, whimsical, inspirational stories for children and their families to read together.
