          Thesis presented as a requirement for obtaining a PhD in Production Engineering from the Postgraduate Programme in Production Engineering at the Federal Technological University of Paran?. Area of Concentration: Industrial Management. A model was proposed for managing technology transfer at the university-industry interface. New methods and resources were defined based on gaining the trust of partners through the provision of services. A framework was also proposed to support the actions required by the model. To validate the model, questionnaires were administered to academic experts with experience in managing university-industry interaction.
