Biographie:
Mike is a retired Marine Corps officer who commanded units from platoon to regimental level from 1972 through 2000. Upon retirement, he pursued a second career in education and has taught classes from the elementary through graduate school levels. All his writing projects (four previous books) are directed towards providing his readers with the essential character and spiritual traits necessary to achieve inner peace in our very secular, chaotic world. Raised Catholic, this book was written specifically to introduce and reacquaint Christians with the magnificence of the Virgin Mary. The Blessed Mother can be a source of great inspiration to people of all faiths. Mike's hope is that his eight grandchildren and all children will discover the power of faith and the love our Blessed Mother has for each of us. Mike resides in Oceanside, California with his wife of fifty years, Dana.

Mike is a decorated retired career Marine officer and educator. A California native, he spent most of his military service serving multiple tours at Camp Pendleton where he and his wife, Dana, raised their three children. As a Marine officer, he commanded units from the platoon level through the battalion level. Upon retiring from the Marines, he taught high school and served as a faculty development coordinator for the Marine Corps Command and Staff College. The son of a career naval officer, Mike's upbringing had a significant impact on his character development and faith.
