??????????????? Life throws us curveballs and we have hurdles to get over. It was not easy at times, but it wasn't life making it hard, it was me. It may have taken me awhile to get to where I want to be in life, but I am getting there, closer every day. Looking back it has been the most amazing journey and will continue to be. For this I am grateful. We all go through struggles in life that can send us to dark spaces. In writing these poems I worked my way out of those spaces. It is my hope that if any of my poems can inspire and help, but one person get through, then I have payed it forward! Which to me is the greatest asset someone can give to another. I chose to carry on and let there be light...so can you.

Biographie:
I am 57 years old, formerly of Airdrie, Alberta Canada, now living in Wimborne, Alberta. I am a recovering alcoholic of fifteen years now. My parents raised six girls and one boy in a farm in Alberta. I was blessed with a son and a daughter, who are adults now. I love my family and children with all my heart. I have made bad decisions, choices, mistakes, throughout the years, which hurt several people, most of them are my loved ones. I now refer to those as life lessons. And being aware of the hurt I have caused my loved ones has helped me become a more compassionate, caring, and helpful person to people in my life, and people I meet along the way, on this great journey called life.
