I'm excited to introduce my very first children's book, Nana Chan, along with the fun, bright and colourful illustrations by Natalie Beauvais.I'm blessed to be a mother of two beautiful children, all grown up now, who hold dear memories of reading regular bedtime stories together.We live in the picturesque Yarra Valley, Victoria, Australia, surrounded by Australian bushland and wildlife.As a nurse for over twenty years, I have seen the struggles people face when their loved ones are unwell.I hope this book brings a helpful insight for the children of families and carers facing the challenges of dementia.A lover of poetry, all things vintage, gardening, family, friends, and pets, who also thoroughly enjoys writing books with sweet and supportive messages.Thankful for the ongoing support of my loving husband and family, who may call me a little crazy, creative, can't sit still for long, full of ideas kinda' gal with an infectious laugh!!Hope you enjoy the book.Big hugs of support to all the wonderful carers out there.Thank you to Busybird publishing for making the process a smooth and an enjoyable one!
