Under the Hague Convention, facing charges of child abduction, it becomes clear that the only laws that truly apply are the laws of survival in a mother's desperate bid to protect her child... but at what cost? Official reports say that over 75% of these cases involve a primary carer mother taking her child back to her home country after experiencing domestic abuse....
