Da-Nel has been a lifelong writer and in 2011 she released her first book, Broke and Alone - A Woman's Guide for Introspective Living. Her writing style has been described as 'vivid, honest, funny, metaphorical, and inspiring'. She is in the process of releasing her 2nd book, Slaying Your Fears - Removing the Monsters that Threaten Your Happiness. As a Certified Professional Development Trainer and National Speaker, she has successfully demonstrated her passion for challenging individuals across the country to live a life of fulfillment, growth, honesty, and joy. Topics of focus include: Dealing With Difficult People, Managing Your Emotions Under Pressure, Customer Service that Makes Your Business Stand Out, How to Achieve Emotional Intelligence, Understanding the DiSC Behavioral Model, Being a Leader - Not Just a Supervisor, How to Be a Rockstar Administrative Professional, Assertive Communication Versus Aggressive Communication. Da-Nel has created the curriculum for several education programs tailored to women-owned small businesses, and she has received numerous recognition awards including an honorable Citation for her humanitarian efforts. When she is not teaching, travelling or writing, Da-Nel finds joy on hiking trails, in traveling, gardening, discovering new Scotch Whiskeys, passionately cheering for her favorite sports teams, baking, and fussing over her plump tuxedo cat....
