Ruth James is a T.E.S.O.L. English teacher with an inherent passion for writing and history. Inspired by her grandfather's letters and World War 1 memorabilia, Ruth brings James (Jim) Henry Rainey's war story to life in the non-fiction book, Returned With a Creed, the first in her evolving Legacy's Gate series. A fourth-generation Queenslander, Ruth grew up in Redcliffe with her three brothers during the 1960s to '80s, before settling in Bundaberg where her family roots began in the late 1800s.
