From the Grant Projects in Harlem, NY to the World Economic Forum, we follow the early journey of a hyphenated odd-ball who is now a Master Healer and minimal surfer. The short stories of unplanned destiny reveal each level of awakening that we encounter on a path to enlightenment. I say 'we' rather than 'I' because if I have done this, so have you. Anything I can do, you can do better. This Spanish speaking third generation Japanese-American girl, whose parents immigrated from Japan to Kentucky and Hawaii to New York resides in a global melting pot in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, 2500 miles away from any land mass. It's a lifestyle that is 180 degrees different from anything she's ever known. But it's easier done than said.

Biographie:
Louise Mita, founder of Integrative Quantum Medicine(TM) has studied metaphysical alchemy, healing and martial arts since 1968. her background includes Parapsychic Sciences, Reiki, Kendo, Kung Fu, Aikido, Hapkido, Jeet Kun Do and Sho Kon Do. She is also a certified practitioner of Chinese Energetic Medicine, Tai Chi, Qigong and Feng Shui. She began teacher her trademark philosophies in 1998. Parallel to her background in energy work she had a 40 year career as a dancer and choreographer, performing on stage and screen. She had a one woman show Let it Rip and was the founding director of 3 dance companies, winning over 17 grants and awards, as well as being appointed Dance Commissioner of the Hawaii State Department of Culture and Arts. Louise was the managing director of the Quincy Jones Listen Up Foundation when they initiated the building of the 100 homes in South Africa, as a promise to Nelson Mandela.
