        Biographie:
David Spark is a veteran tech journalist and founder of?Spark Media Solutions, a brand journalism firm that helps its clients be seen as leading voices in their field through brand-quality media production.?...

        Sommaire:
David Spark started reporting in 1953 at the Lancaster Guardian and transferred in 1955 to The Northern Echo, Darlington, where he soon became a sub-editor. Then, in 1959, he was ?John North?, the Ech?s travelling feature writer, visiting towns and villages throughout North-East England. He later took up leader writing and was appointed assistant editor in 1965. In 1967 he transferred, as leader and feature writer, to the London office of Westminster Press Provincial Newspapers, eventually becoming assistant London editor. He turned freelance when the office closed in 1986, writing features for newspapers at home and abroad, notably the Financial Times. Since 1986 he has edited the newsletter of the Commonwealth Journalists Association, which records the struggles of journalists throughout the Commonwealth to report despite poverty and political pressures....

David Spark's down to earth advice on the essentials of reporting is distilled from a lifetime of experience but as fresh and practical as if he were at your elbow in the newsroom. His newcomers' guide to the web as a tool for reporting is especially useful Sir Harold Evans former Editor of The Sunday Times

To those who may think that formal journalism is a dying art this book offers a splendid rejoinder. It is for all those who purport to write that others may read Sir Simon Jenkins Guardian columnist and former Editor of The Times
