Father, steeds are for young women who are to be sent on quests. Our boring lives will be spent in ease and comfort, I fear, and therefore we have no reason to have steeds. Deliah and Ilorah have spent their lives in comfort and ease, trained by the best the Mad King's kingdom can offer. They excel at everything, from fighting and wrestling to court etiquette. The princess sisters have reluctantly accepted their roles as heirs to the kingdom and know they'll never need steeds, as steeds are only given to hero women sent on quests. The only adventure they'll ever experience will be in the pages of their beloved books. Until they get stolen from their bed by slavers. Thus begins the adventure they never thought they'd be lucky enough to have. From causing mutiny on the open ocean to taming a dragon, the exotic lands to the east are everything these young women could ever want.
