Sommaire:
Edmond Gagnon grew up in Windsor, Ontario, and joined the Windsor Police Department in 1977. Starting as a Cadet, Ed was later promoted to Constable in the Uniform Division and walked a beat in downtown Windsor. He spent the next thirteen years working the street as a patrol officer. Eventually, Ed was transferred to plain clothes where he worked in narcotics, morality, property crime, fraud and arson. Promoted to Sergeant and then Detective, Ed investigated everything from theft and burglary to arson and murder. He retired after accumulating thirty-one years and four months of service.Within weeks of retirement, Ed took to travelling the world, visiting exotic places in Southeast Asia and South America. He also did motorcycle trips all over Canada and the United States. Recipients of Ed's travel email suggested he put his adventures into a book. Thus, Edmond Gagnon's first book, A Casual Traveler was born. Following the success of his first book, Ed decided to tell some of his police stories. Inspired by events personally experienced and people he met during his career, Edmond Gagnon started the Norm Strom Crime Series with his next book, Rat. There were many more stories to tell so Ed continued his crime series with Bloody Friday, Torch, and Finding Hope. After introducing Detroit Homicide investigator Abigail Brown in Border City Chronicles, Ed started the Abigail Brown Crime Series and wrote, Moon Mask - the sequel to Finding Hope, and then, The Millionaire Murders. Edmond Gagnon also wrote a paranormal thriller, Four, and continues to write books in both his crimes series'. He still travels frequently and resides in Windsor with his wife, Cathryn....
