Dear Child, Love, Daddy is a compilation of 365 letters from a loving father to his forcibly estranged child. These letters are masterfully written and woven together, and their endearing style has a way of engaging the reader. The author uses wit, humor, thought-provoking questions, and quotations from the Bible; to impart love, acceptance, interest, encouragement, and gentle instruction to his young child. Perhaps you've experienced a less than ideal relationship with your father, or maybe you are a dad who wants to be there more for your child. Perhaps you're a mother whose child needs more from his/her father. Or maybe you just want to read an endearing account of a father's love for his child. Then Dear Child, Love, Daddy delivers. This faithful husband and father of three, has felt the horror of having one of his children kidnapped during a heated custody battle with his ex-wife. Up against a high-powered family with deep pockets, which used lies and exploitation, this disabled man lost custody of his beloved child. He meets pain and terror with fortitude and perseverance. Remaining undaunted in his desire to honor God and to be the father that his child needs, he writes daily. Having never received a single letter in return, he assumes the youngster, who can barely read, has not been receiving his letters. Perhaps the best way to describe this anonymous author is by the words of his two adoptive children. The first says, He's a really cool and fun dad. And the second says, He's the best dad in the world! He could be doing other things, but instead he plays with us.
