Chloe Chadwick has stumbled upon even more trouble in her new home of Salus. People on the island have started disappearing, only to turn up later with their memories gone. The first victim, a fox shifter, offers up no clues as to why this is happening, or if it's deliberate. But when more amnesia victims begin showing up, including someone Chloe cares about, it's clear someone is targeting the island's inhabitants. In order to stop more people from turning up with no idea who or what they are, Chloe gives in and accepts the sheriff's job offer. Except her problems don't stop once she leaves the office. Someone she trusted betrays her, but even that is overshadowed when the newest resident of Salus turns out to be a great deal more than he appears. Juggling multiple personal and professional issues, she is going to have to use everything she's learned about her new world-and herself-to ensure neither Salus nor herself are forgotten.

Meg M. Robinson is a fantasy author who lives in north Georgia with her husband of nineteen years, teenage son, three boxers, lizards, and fish. She's unapologetically goofy and a little nerdy, which amuses her family to no end. Her favorite books are paranormal romance and urban fantasy, especially if they have a mythological twist to them. Greek mythology and stories of the supernatural have been a source of passion since she was a child. Her writing focuses on the world of the supernatural in a modern-day setting, primarily paranormal romance. She loves writing what she terms 'bathtub books'; stories that allow her readers to just relax and get lost in the story. When writing, she loves to weave real-world places, mysteries, and myths into her stories, but with her own spins and answers. Because who hasn't wondered about the real purpose of Stonehenge? Or pondered whether the lost continents of Atlantis or Lemuria were real? Meg's favorite hobbies do revolve around writing, as she reads more than she cares to admit. When she's not working on her next story, or enjoying someone else's, she enjoys playing video games, camping with her family, or being crafty, in a very literal sense.
