Biographie:
Steinway Artist Judy Carmichael is one of the leading interpreters of classic swing and stride piano. She received a Grammy nomination for her first recording, Two-Handed Stride and has been featured on numerous TV and radio programs in the States and abroad, including Entertainment Tonight, A Prairie Home Companion, NPR's Morning Edition, CNN's Business Unusual, CBS Sunday Morning, and shows for the BBC, Australian Broadcasting Corporation and film and television in Brazil. Judy's memoir, Swinger! A Jazz Girl's Adventures from Hollywood to Harlem was published in 2018. Judy continues to tour internationally and when she's home, which she seldom is, she's usually on a tennis court in her beloved Sag Harbor, New York.
