Sidney H. Smith III, LCSWSidney H. Smith III is a Clinical Social Worker at the Department of Veteran Affairs, Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System in Biloxi, Mississippi. Smith earned both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Social Work from The University of Southern Mississippi, with a minor in psychology. Smith's academic distinctions include recognition as the University of Southern Mississippi/National Association of Social Workers Student of the Year, recipient of the Council of Social Work Education Fellowship (2018-2019), McNair Scholar, and Honors College graduate. With experience as a Substance Abuse Counselor and Community Outreach Counselor, Smith also volunteers at local inpatient and residential treatment centers.
