A deep love and understanding of the natural world is evident in all her writing, drawing readers into the worlds she creates. Having lived and worked in isolated mountain regions and rural areas throughout California, she brings firsthand knowledge of small town people and history. Her life experiences and a background in trailwork, firefighting, genealogy, and shamanism, lend a unique sense of realism to her Pine Valley series.In addition to awards for poetry, in 2022, Corrine received a Literary Titan Silver Book Award for her novel, A Place Called The Way....
