Biographie:
Started programming at the age of 9 on a monochrome Franklin Ace 2100 in BASIC while growing up in Fargo, ND. Enjoyed all sorts of computer activities as a hobby until the opportunity finally arrived to start formally learning programming in school around age 15. Two-dimensional scrolling games have always been a favorite. Exploring huge scrolling spaces has always captured the imagination of this geek through all the Super Mario games, Final Fantasy games (some of which were 2D) and many more. Now married to another computer programmer and living in Maple Grove, the hope is to use this book as a curriculum to teach and inspire young folks about game development.
