The Editor: MaryJo Benton Lee holds a Ph.D. in sociology from South Dakota State University, where she is Diversity Coordinator for the College of Engineering. She is the co-founder and coordinator of the SDSU-Flandreau Indian School Success Academy, an early and intensive college preparatory program that serves two hundred and fifty American Indian high school students.
