Since we have just entered the second millennium, it seems fitting to survey the events of the past as they pertain to women's issues. Biographie:
The Author: Rolande Graves was born and raised in France during the years following WWII. She traveled to the United States where she continued her studies at the University of Michigan. After obtaining her Ph.D., she decided to remain in the United States and accepted a position as Professor of French Language and Literature at Northern Michigan University. She is the author of Flamenca: Variations sur les th?mes de l'amour courtois.
