His recently received master's degree from Vanderbilt University, but his keen logic, and high I.Q. are no match for his kidnappers. It seems his deep pockets can't even get him out of this perilous situation. WHAT Strangers, whispers and darkness engulf him for fourteen days, while he's confined to a chair in an unfamiliar place. How much longer can he withstand this torture and feeling of uncertainty? He misses Lelah and his home terribly. What did he ever do to deserve this? YOU OWE Brian wants answers while his kidnappers want revenge. On the 15th day, masks are removed, and all is revealed. Could it be that he is really guilty as charged? Biographie:
I simply love words and literature! Ever since I was a little girl in Jackson, Mississippi. I have such vivid memories of playing Scrabble and of going to the library to check out tons of books on Saturday mornings. As an adult, I aspire to make both children and adults feel as I still do about books and literacy. I've been writing since age eleven, dreaming of one day being able to share my writing with the world. I write stories, poetry, and plays. In high school, I received honors in a creative writing course for a screen play I wrote. Since high school, I've experienced the joys of motherhood, attending, and graduating from a four year college. My bachelor's degree is in education. Since then, I have taught grades k-5, worked as a substitute teacher for pre-k through 8th grade, and I gained experience as a special education teacher. I love teaching just as much as I love words and literature. Currently, I have two published books: The Sky is the Limit (children's) and Love, Heartbreaks, Epiphanies, and Joy, which is a poetry collection. The poetry collection includes many poems that were inspired by my own experiences. In my leisure time, you can find me at a library, bookstore, on a road trip, at a basketball game, at a play, listening to music, reading, and spending time with my family. Writing stories and poetry is something I love to do anytime and any place. I never get tired of writing! I often tutor students who are struggling with reading, grammar, and language arts skills....
