Résumé :
It is an inspirational autobiography of a village boy who struggled his way to establish himself in the modern hostile world and was able to settle in a large city in India. He was a victim of humiliation at every level of his life; but instead of plunging into depression, he laughed it away as if each and every humiliation was only another inspirational milestone in his life. He found every cloud with a silver lining and made himself ready for another battle of his life after every humiliation meted out against him. After reading the book, it is hoped, that any reader from a modest background will be inspired to do something special for him/ her and for his/ her family.
Biographie:
Hiranya Borah was born to a teachers' family and his schooling up to matriculation (1976) was in his parental village, Chatia, Assam. He graduated from Cotton College, Guwahati in 1981. During his college days, he was the editor of the college magazine 'Cottonian'(1980) and he published two Assamese novels. He took his master's degree and M.Phil degree from Delhi University in 1983 and 1984 respectively. For a few months in 1985, he was a lecturer at Cotton College before he had joined the Government of India in the same year as an Indian Statistical Service (ISS) officer. From 1992-to 2003 he edited a few guidebooks for the APSC aspirants. Since 2003, he had been posted in New Delhi in different capacities till his retirement on 31.03.2022. He has already published 187 ebooks and 12 English books in print. Apart from writing books, he is a motivational speaker for the youngsters. The high point of his literary career came when after receiving a copy of his book in his office at the Parliament House on 16.03.2021, 'Chandrapraba: The Iron Lady of Assam', the Hon'ble PM had tweeted from his tweeter handle about the book and which was re-tweeted by around 2500 viewers within hours of his tweeting....
