The disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system are studied, diagnosed and treated under neurology. These conditions include Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, neuromuscular diseases, neuropathy, and infections and tumors of the nervous system, among others. Such disorders may affect the peripheral, central or autonomic nervous system.
