Biographie:
Over four decades ago, Karen and her husband, Rav Berg, set out to make the Light and wisdom of Kabbalah accessible and relevant to all people. Their goal was to teach the spiritual wisdom and provide the tools of Kabbalah, without exclusion. They believed that the study of Kabbalah would help people to live a better life, and that by doing so, the world would benefit. Under their leadership, The Kabbalah Centre has grown from a single location into one of the world's leading sources of spiritual wisdom, online and with more than 40 locations around the globe. Today The Kabbalah Centre provides instruction and community to tens of thousands of students. Following Rav Berg's passing in 2013, Karen Berg untiringly lead and nurtured Kabbalah Centres around the world. As its Spiritual Director and Founder, Karen was devoted to an enduring vision, within each person there is a spark of God that can be bound together to create transcendence beyond all differences. For seventeen indefatigable years, she expanded her efforts beyond The Kabbalah Centre doors, travelling the world to be a voice of awakening for spiritual unity. Karen met with world leaders, spiritual giants, and global citizens, personally and online, serving a worldwide community of millions with her message to humanity, be a force of kindness. Karen departed this world at the instant of sunrise on July 30th, 2020. According to the Hebrew calendar this was the 9th day of Av (Leo), considered one of the darkest days of the year, that paradoxically also possesses within it birth of enlightenment. Karen left the world just as she lived in it. The darkest part of the night is just before the dawn, she would say, this is meant to teach us that it is through the darkness that we find the Light.
