Julie Mayerson Brown is an author, playwright, and essayist. She lives in Palos Verdes, California (a suburb of Los Angeles) with her family and a pack of three lovable, lazy boxers. Julie is the founder of Write to Give, a non-profit organization (tax exempt status pending) dedicated to sharing books with those who are experiencing difficulties in life. We seek to distribute works of fiction and non-fiction that comfort, inspire, and uplift. When not writing, she is in the kitchen cooking for friends and house guests or out in the garden trying (without much success) to grow organic tomatoes....
