Résumé :
Vaccines are hailed as the miracle of medical innovation, attributed to saving millions of lives. Everyone is taught to believe that vaccinations are responsible for ridding the world of dreaded diseases, such as smallpox and polio. This view, summarized here by the term vaccine orthodoxy, contends that all vaccines are safe and effective and the benefits outweigh the risks. Yet, when looking from an historical perspective that chronicles the evolution of diseases and the introduction of vaccinations, a much different picture is created that has staggering implications. The expanded vaccine schedule that has ballooned over the past 30 years or so, has directly correlated with the rapid rise in autism, neurodevelopmental disabilities and other health issues. The book contends, as a result of the undue influence of the pharmaceutical industry, the medical establishment, the politicians, and the mainstream news media have failed to seriously address these life-altering concerns. Instead of fostering an open and transparent discussion of vaccine efficacy, there has been a concerted effort to censor any information critical of vaccinations that counters the officially sanctioned narrative. The Unfortunate Truth About Vaccines presents the side of the story that questions the entire premise regarding the efficacy of vaccinations, rarely delineated and poorly understood by the public. The overuse of vaccines in a one size fits all world, is having a devastating impact that will affect generations to come unless some sanity is restored.
Biographie:
Leon Canerot is a retired school psychologist with 35 years of experience, who worked with special-needs children at the preschool and elementary through high school, and postsecondary levels. It was during the early 1990s that he first became aware of the autistic epidemic, while working in Head Start and later in the elementary school system, specifically, as part of a diagnostic team evaluating children with autism. This unprecedented rise in autism coincided with the dramatic increase in the number of vaccines that children were being given during that period. His investigation focused on numerous scientific studies that led to the controversial, yet undeniable, conclusion that vaccines were associated with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders, which ultimately led to The Unfortunate Truth About Vaccines.
