Biographie:
Karen Mortimer is a wife, mother, grandmother, musician, and artist whose life is dedicated to working with young children. They have inspired the writing of hundreds of children's songs as a pre-school music teacher. Karen also created and hosted a syndicated children's radio ministry, Karen & Kids. In retirement, Karen looked for ways to share her gifts and talents. Since she loves painting, she self-illustrated her debut picture book Furry Friends in watercolors. The book is based on a lullaby she wrote and tells the story of a little girl, Lolly, and her love for her stuffed animals. Her award-winning songs and the podcast of her radio ministry, Karen & Kids, are available on iTunes or her website www.karenandkids.com.
