Those Who Made a Difference 3 features inspiring stories about extraordinary people. While there are plenty of villains who've had an impact, the author focuses on those who left the world a better place. The individuals highlighted include: Thomas Aquinas, who was declared patron of all Catholic education establishments; his best-known works are: Disputed Questions on Truth, The summa Contra Gentiles, and the unfinished but massively influential Summa Theologica, or Summa Theologiae. Betsy Ross made flags for the Pennsylvania navy during the American Revolution. After that, she made US flags for over 50 years including 50 garrison flags for the US arsenal on the Schuylkill River during 1811. Susan Boyle, who auditioned on Britain's Got Talent singing 'I Dreamed a Dream' from Les Miserables in 2009 and instantly became world famous. The book features scores of others, too, such as D. Howard Hitchcock, Elizabeth Freeman, David Yonggi, Serena Williams, Lisa Boothe, Louise, Nigel Rowe, and many others, showing how ordinary people with a purpose can-and will-make a difference.
Biographie:
TERRY BOSGRA, a native of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, grew up in Germany occupied most of Europe. He has traveled to or lived in about fifty countries. This book features 141 people, including dozens who have been in his home. He lives in Hawaii and can be reached at terrybosgra@gmail.com
