'Sarjana' is a collection of original poems composed by of Dr. Pathak in different time periods. The poems compiled in this book have been composed with a view to expose the social distortions. Some poems are inspired by the feeling of patriotism, some are vocal to provide protection from the terrorism, while some talk about women empowerment. In certain poetic genres, there is a sense of being faithful to the supreme power. In some, the expressions of love for nature have been expressed by the captivating depiction of nature. The inclusion of original works based on love of love, patriotism, love of nature, respect for women, empowerment of women and moral values ??is the specialty of this compilation. The 'first edition' of 'Sarjana' is presented to the sage scholars with the hope that they will read it and taste its poetic expressions.

Biographie:
Poet and essayist Dr. Vishnu Prasad Pathak was born in Faizabad district (Ayodhya) in July 1957. His initial education was completed in Ayodhya, the holy city of the world famous Shri Ram. He has done M.A. (Hindi, Sanskrit, English), B.Ed. and after doing Sahityacharya, he completed his Ph.D. in Hindi. Dr. Pathak worked in different parts of the country in his administrative/academic experience of 40 years, during which he continued to get experience in literary and cultural subjects. The Sanskrit essay book Sanskrit-Nibandh Saurabham composed by him is used by students for Shastri, B.A. and other competitive exams. His poems and articles have been published in many well-known provincial papers/journals and national magazines. From December 1996 to 2001, Dr. Pathak was Joint Secretary of the Union and Managing Editor for the annual magazine published by the Writer's Association based in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh. For doing commendable work on Awadhi literature, Awadhi Literary Committee, Manyora, Lakhimpur Kheri has honored him with 'Janakavi Pt. Vanshidhar Shukla Samman'. At present, Dr. Pathak is residing in Lucknow after retiring from the post of Principal.
