She signed up to sketch the criminals, not catch them. Callie Dane is the epitome of a starving artist. Her dream has always been to make it in the world doing what she loves, but lately, life has been kicking her while she's down. When her latest client fires her, Callie has no choice but to search for a stable job... one that will keep a roof over her head and the heat on. Bryan Dane, Callie's brother, is a detective with the Miami Dade Police Department who offers her a chance to work with him as a forensic artist. A prime position, with one hitch, the job isn't available. The only chance Callie has is to accept a job as a police clerk and hope to try her hand as a sketch artist if the opportunity arises. Luckily for Callie, it isn't long before she secures her first case. She interviews a young woman about her recent abduction, and it's the last time anyone in the MDPD sees the woman alive. Suddenly, Callie has a new job title; Mole for the MDPD. The abrupt change from artist to spy has Callie rethinking her choices. Her life was a lot less dangerous when she worked for rich old women...
