Biographie:
Nicole Jennifer Milburn is a native of Philadelphia Pennsylvania, currently residing in South Jersey. She is a Reiki master, a practitioner of spirituality and holistic health, and has a love for all things natural. Nicole is a firm believer that everyone should look to and embrace the ingrained source of energy within. Nicole mindfully embraces the divine feminine energy within her and expresses that passionately through her work as a Birth Doula and Cosmic Sexuality instructor. Nicole grew up in Northeast Philadelphia where she was raised by her father, who was also a writer. Her father introduced her to poetry writing at a young age, however, it didn't resonate until much later in her life. Twenty years later, driven by her love of being a mother, Nicole wrote her first poem. Being able to express ideas and thoughts through poetry allows Nicole to feel close to her father who passed away in 2002. Nicole's interest in writing poetry extends beyond her bond with her father, and her love for the journey of motherhood. It also creates a space for her to share experiences and feelings that can be relatable and empowering to all women. Writing poetry feels like a very safe space for my curiosity and creativity. Our curiosity and creativity should always be in motion, it's one of the best things we can do for ourselves on our never-ending journey of growth.
