Résumé :
This book presents recent developments and new directions in advanced control systems, together with new theoretical findings, industrial applications and case studies on complex engineering systems, sensors, materials science, medicine, non-destructive testing and quality assurance. With a breakthrough in technology, the modern world is on the verge of new industrial revolution, at the stage of digital transformation when innovations from various industries collaborate and change each other. Innovations are the basis of the developed products and technologies. They are used to create new developments and advances as well as improve the state-of-the-art processes. However, the digital transformation both opens new opportunities and introduces additional risks.
