Biographie:
A talented and dynamic communicator, Donna Boone shares with kids, teens, young adults--and the young at heart--a message of love, hope, and purpose. Through black-light puppetry, illusions, games, dance, music and ventriloquism, Donna and her team deliver fast-paced, engaging and inspiring presentations. Originally from Newfoundland, Canada, Donna was blessed with an abundance of energy, creativity and an infectious love for children. Donna embarked on a career as a full-time teacher and part-time interior designer --vocations that seemed to be a perfect fit for her unique talents and interests. It wasn't long before she left teaching to pursue her calling into full-time ministry. Since that time, Donna, her teams, and her husband Laurie, have travelled around the world--performing in venues both large and small. Donna has also served as a children's pastor in Ontario and Alberta. She provides consulting and training services to educational institutions and churches. More recently, she has become a President of the Canadian Children's Chaplaincy Association, a role that has opened further opportunity to provide care and counselling to children at risk. In her spare time, Donna loves to sew, quilt, decorate, bake and entertain. Donna and Laurie have two daughters married to amazing guys and five beautiful and inspiring granddaughters.
