My hopes and dreams of helping those with Alzheimer's or other dementia have come to fruition with the completion of this book. For many years I've been seeing improvements firsthand and have felt the satisfaction of making a positive difference in the lives of your loved ones. I hope that using these therapeutic activities will be as rewarding for you and your loved ones as it is for me and my clients. It is difficult to find the words to describe the deep feelings that surfaced as I reached for remnants of memory to build upon. It is even more difficult to describe the euphoria I feel each time I see a smile on the face of someone who has had little to smile about.
