Kemi Moon Balogun aka Moon The...Owl Poet is a natural-born communicator, emotional storyteller, and empathic writer, with poetry being her preferred method of literary expression. This Nigerian-American poet has been writing poetry and short stories since she was 10 years old, using words to paint vivid pictures of what went on in her mind and how she saw the world. Moon draws inspiration to create from music such as Jazz, R&B, Blues, Gospel, & Hip Hop, and from observing the world through spiritual, philosophical & sociological lenses. Moon's first published collection of poems, Enter the Mooniverse will be released in early 2022. She resides in Phoenix, Arizona where she freelances as Lead Writer at Degenerate Genius, primarily focusing on writing biographies for artists and business owners...
