Michelle Knight, founder of Black Moms Reality Bookcase LLC, is an Army veteran whose journey from military service to children's literature embodies resilience and purpose. With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration, coupled with over 20 years in healthcare, Michelle brings a unique perspective to children's literature.?Her motto, 'Reading reality is essential assisting our children today for a better tomorrow,' stems from her belief that life experience is the most valuable degree one can earn. Through her collection of multicultural children's books, she addresses real-life challenges while celebrating African American culture and inspiring young minds to dream big.?Black Moms Reality Bookcase was born from Michelle's passion for teaching through writing. Each book carries powerful messages that help children aged 3-12 navigate life's challenges while seeing themselves represented in literature.
