Just Think Performance Task - Grade 5 is part of a series of workbooks that are designed to bolster students' 21st century skills as they tackle the various tasks. This book comprises of performance tasks practice papers in the four core subject areas: mathematics, language arts, social studies and science, that are aligned with the National Standards Curriculum (NSC). These series of performance tasks: ? will allow students to explore various scenarios based on the different topics taught at the Grade 5 level. ? mimic the question structure that is employed in the National Primary Exit Profile examinations. ? present relatable scenarios, based on the Jamaican context. ? provide a range of questions, at the different comprehension levels - guided by Webb's Depth of Knowledge (DOK). ? are accompanied by those objectives from the NSC that they are designed to assess. ? make it easier for teachers to engage with them as each is linked to the respective term, units and themes under study.
