Colleen Avis is an award-winning author, certified Chopra Life Coach, and Ayurveda and Mindfulness Mentor. She has spent the last decade guiding clients to create spaces they love to live in-mind, body, and home. She embraces the whole person and believes all our spaces are beautifully intertwined. Colleen thrives on building connections and communities where everyone is invited to be 100% themselves, develop relationships, and share experiences and stories. Having experienced her own traumas and childhood abandonment, Colleen spent decades searching for spaces where she felt accepted and could be her true self. Colleen Avis is an integrative life coach, author, entrepreneur, and owner of Subtle Shifts and Colleen Avis Interiors. With an open heart, Colleen passionately guides others in their journey to feel their best and live a harmonious, balanced life. How did she uncover her passion?Before aligning with her path and purpose in wellness and coaching, Colleen earned her degrees in business and finance. For 16 years, she worked as a management consultant in the United States and Europe, living and embracing London as home for five years. While abroad Colleen loved traveling through Europe enjoying each adventure. They allowed her to explore different cultures and the uniqueness of each country, and study at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. Her curiosity and sense of adventure opened wide!Colleen left her corporate profession to raise her son and create and build Be Brave and Shave a nonprofit charity, where she helped raise over $1.5 million in two and a half years to endow the first pediatric oncology chair at Children's National Hospital. This is one of Colleen's most cherished accomplishments, and created a deep awareness and understanding for how compassion and love create lasting bonds.She built her first business, Colleen Avis Interiors, after returning to school to study interior design. While helping clients create beautiful home interior spaces, she felt the deep connection between the physical spaces and energetic spaces we live in and collectively share. This sparked a deep passion and desire to support others find their greatest joys and love for all their spaces. This took Colleen, nearly a decade ago, to Chopra. It was there she grew and transformed personally (a forever journey she embraces), and learned to guide others in gaining clarity and focus about their lives, expanding their creativity, and discovering solutions to life's challenges.
