Présentation Data Driven System Engineering de James Wen Format Broché
- Livre Technologie
Résumé :
Every computing system has two, and only two attributes: Data Value and Data timing, which represent fully the system functionalities from the system external behavior point of view. The data driven system engineering is the approach to develop the system by focusing on the two attributes mentioned above, in which, the data values are derived by the system operation concept design, and the data timing is derived by the system latency design. Based on which, this book provides a full range of system and software engineering development activities. DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY NO WARRANTIES: This book (Data Driven System Engineering) is provided for informational and educational purposes only. The author, James Wen, and any associated entities make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of the information contained herein, including but not limited to discussions of system operation concepts, error detection (limited to data value and timing errors), failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA), safety developments, cybersecurity approaches, verification processes, or any examples (e.g., automotive ECU integrations). All content is based on the author's experience and is not guaranteed to produce specific results. NOT PROFESSIONAL ADVICE: This book is not intended as, and should not be construed as, legal, engineering, safety, or professional advice. It does not guarantee compliance with any standards (e.g., ISO 26262 for functional safety or UN ECE 155/156 for cybersecurity), regulations, or industry practices. Custom approaches (e.g., optimized FMEA or recursive data derivations) are conceptual and may not align with all regulatory requirements. Readers are solely responsible for ensuring their implementations meet applicable laws, standards, and safety criteria. ASSUMPTION OF RISK: By reading or relying on this book, you assume all risks associated with its application, including but not limited to financial loss, property damage, personal injury, or death resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or misapplied information. The author and associated entities disclaim any liability for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of this book, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. NO ENDORSEMENT OF RESULTS: The methodologies described (e.g., data attributes realization, system integration verification, or checklists) are illustrative and not exhaustive. No guarantee is made that following them will achieve desired outcomes, such as reliable software construction or safety compliance. Readers must conduct their own testing, validation, and risk assessments. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY NOTICE: This book complements related works, including U.S. Patent No. 12,197,893 B2, but does not expand, modify, or waive any intellectual property rights.
