Diagnosed with stage four, highly aggressive, completely incurable blood cancer that metastasized to his bones, Bill Crews was in for the fight of his life. An avid athlete, he was in great shape. He had spent a lifetime swimming competitively, playing soccer, bull riding and weightlifting. He had been looking forward to a new sport - triathlon. Three weeks following his 37th birthday, he lost use of his arm. Within days, he went from being a triathlete-in-training, to a cancer patient knocking on death's door.

This story, written from the perspective of both a caregiver and patient, gives a glimpse into the cancer journey of a young, athletic family. When cancer strikes, it changes lives forever.
