Connecting Reflections represents a collection of poetry written over the past 15 years. Divided into sections, some poems are meditative and spiritual, some experiential, and others political in nature. Some of the poems are geometrically shaped, at times concrete, while others are a combination of conventional and original forms. This varied collection of poems offers a more complete look into William's many-sided life. For as Albert Camus observed, To create is an act of generosity. Originally, titled Words Heard and Unheard, friend T. J. Brauer's illustration for the book cover inspired the title change to Connecting Reflections.

Biographie:
Taking a cue from Mark Twain, I didn't let school get in the way of my education. In my sophomore year of college I took off traveling all over America Walt Whitman style. I worked as reporter on independent papers on East and West coasts. I even started one in Savannah, GA, entitled Albion's Voice, a Blakean awakening. I worked as a restoration contractor in Savannah, GA for 24 years and also ran the St. Julian Street B & B for 5 years.In my 50's I turned to poetry. I had a chapbook of politically inspired verse, Bush League Fatigue, published. As Alive - As Alert - As Awake - As Artful, my second poetry collection, was published in 2014.This third collection spans some 16 years of writing poetry. Also, I have been teaching Integral Yoga Hatha for 15 years. And I was fortunate enough to marry Betsy Boyd Strong, also a Yoga instructor, my Muse and in-house editor, 17 1/2 years ago.
