This is a story of devasting events of unexpectedly becoming a widow after fifty-eight years of marriage. Her marriage was in a good place. Neither her nor her husband had any health issues. They had two children, 4 grandchildren, and 3 greats. They felt so blessed. One granddaughter was getting married and was looking forward to dance with her grandfather at the wedding. Another granddaughter was expecting her first child. Life doesn't get much better. Tamara felt like she was independent, self-sufficient, and could handle anything that came her way. But after this loss, she was surprised. Because of the many events that followed, she felt it was important to give other women heads-up, and be more prepared. She will give you a list of things that you need to be prepared for, due to the surprises she was faced with while getting her affairs in order.
