This is an inspirational, self-help, commiserating, non-fiction memoir tempered with sprinklings of my poems from that tortured time and some short personal and Biblical insights or hind sights. It examines faith and what can happen to it when everything goes wrong. I suffered horrid mental, emotional, physical and spiritual illness and have (sort of) come out the other side. But there are always questions as to ' why me' and 'how come' and shouts of 'it's not fair'. Do you feel that you'll never be better? You'll always be misunderstood and resented and resentful and hated and scared and alone and negative and sad and maybe even depressed? I am here to tell you that I felt all of those things but you are NOT alone and you are NOT abandoned and you are NOT hopeless or helpless or beyond saving and redemption. You can do this and you can survive and you will be okay, even if that seems like an impossibility! Besides all of this, I suffered from and still suffer from the effects that following the word of faith ideation could do. After all, one only needs to believe and manifest, correct?...
