During the COVID-19 Pandemic shelter-in-place, Nova reflects on the strange events that are occurring. She is bored with staying inside, and she misses her friends and loved ones. Her mother challenges her to make the most of her time by making a list of goals she would like to accomplish. Nova accepts the challenge and decides to have fun by doing random crazy things. Her mother encourages her to add goals to the list to help herself and others while considering people less fortunate than her. As a result, Nova is motivated to help others by performing acts of kindness and generosity. I Did It In 2020 seeks to inspire the readers to appreciate the positive things they accomplished during the pandemic and other challenging times. Although Nova's mother initiates the challenge and makes suggestions, it is Nova that comes up with fun ways to beat boredom and at the same time bring love and positivity to her community. Accomplishing these tasks makes Nova proud. She learns a lot about herself, and she is inspired to take her goals beyond the list!

Biographie:
as a child, she delighted in narratives written in verse and often crafted short poems using her family's encyclopedia of rhymes. In high school, she further explored her love for writing by composing a rap about herself and encouraging her friends to do the same. Michol draws inspiration from current events, seamlessly integrating them into her teaching and writing. She firmly believes in the transformative power of reading and writing, allowing children and adults to escape into realms of imagination and wonder....
